I’ve always been jealous of all the cool stickers and stuff developers have on their laptops. As an SE, I never felt like I could put stickers on my laptop because of onsite demos. One of my rules about demoing is to eliminate as many distractions as possible so your audience is not thinking about the anime character on your laptop instead of the problem you are solving in the demo. So whether it’s bookmark bars, extra tabs open, additional programs running, or laptop stickers, I’ve always done my best to eliminate possible distractions.
Now most of my demos are remote and I’m the boss 😁 …. So I have stickers on my laptop.
